The Institute of Africa Life Coaches and Mentors (IALCM) is led by a distinguished team of professionals who bring a wealth of experience, vision, and dedication to the Institute’s mission. The leadership team is composed of the Global Chancellor/Founder, Deputy Chancellors, and Country Chancellors in all African countries. Each leader plays a pivotal role in driving the strategic direction, operational excellence, and growth of IALCM.
Global President/Chancellor
At the helm of IALCM is the Global President/Chancellor, who serves as the chief visionary and strategic leader for the Institute. This individual is responsible for overseeing the global initiatives of the Institute, ensuring that IALCM remains a world-class institution in the coaching and mentoring sector.
The Global Chancellor/Founder is tasked with:
- Setting the strategic direction for the Institute and ensuring its alignment with the broader vision of empowering individuals, organizations, and communities through coaching and mentorship.
- Leading the global expansion efforts, identifying new markets, and positioning IALCM as a leading force in the development of professional coaches and mentors.
- Representing the Institute in international forums, partnerships, and collaborations, establishing IALCM as a thought leader in coaching and mentorship.
- Ensuring the sustainability and ethical standards of the Institute’s operations, fostering a culture of integrity, professionalism, and excellence.
Deputy Chancellor for Administration and Finance
Supporting the Global President/Chancellor is the Deputy Chancellor for Administration and Finance, who plays a key role in managing the administrative functions and financial operations of IALCM.
The Deputy Chancellor for Administration and Finance is responsible for:
- Overseeing the day-to-day administration of the Institute, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining high standards of service delivery.
- Managing the Institute’s financial resources, including budgeting, financial planning, and fundraising efforts to support the growth and sustainability of IALCM’s programs and initiatives.
- Developing and implementing policies and procedures that ensure effective governance, transparency, and accountability in all financial and administrative matters.
- Supporting the Global President/Chancellor in the strategic planning of the Institute’s financial future, including identifying opportunities for partnerships and funding.
Deputy Chancellor for Certification and Membership
The Deputy Chancellor for Certification and Membership oversees the quality assurance and growth of IALCM’s certification programs and membership services. This individual ensures that the Institute’s certifications are globally recognized, aligned with industry standards, and relevant to the professional needs of coaches and mentors across Africa and beyond.
The Deputy Chancellor for Certification and Membership is tasked with:
- Ensuring the integrity and quality of IALCM’s certification process, including overseeing the development and delivery of accredited programs.
- Managing the membership structure, ensuring that the Institute’s members receive ongoing support, professional development, and opportunities for growth.
- Coordinating membership recruitment, engagement, and retention strategies to expand IALCM’s professional network across the continent and globally.
- Collaborating with academic institutions, professional bodies, and industry stakeholders to ensure that IALCM’s certifications and membership offerings are aligned with current and future market needs.
Country Chancellors (Across Africa)
IALCM has appointed Country Chancellors in each African country to serve as the local leaders and ambassadors of the Institute. These individuals are responsible for implementing IALCM’s vision and programs within their respective countries, ensuring that coaching and mentoring professionals are well-trained, supported, and integrated into their local communities.
The Country Chancellors are responsible for:
- Leading and coordinating IALCM’s operations and initiatives at the country level, including local certification programs, community outreach, and partnerships.
- Representing IALCM within their country, establishing relationships with local governments, businesses, NGOs, and educational institutions to promote the value of coaching and mentorship.
- Supporting the recruitment, training, and professional development of new coaches and mentors, ensuring that IALCM’s programs meet local needs while maintaining global standards.
- Fostering a strong network of IALCM members within their country, providing opportunities for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and growth.
