The establishment of the Institute of Africa Life Coaches and Mentors (IALCM) was driven by a profound and shared desire to transform lives, advance human capital development, and instill professionalism in the field of coaching and mentorship across Africa. The vision and ambition behind the creation of IALCM emanate from the personal and professional experiences of its founders, Dr. Rotimi Mathew and Tpl (Dr.) Omolara Esther Mathew, who both recognize the pivotal role that skilled, ethical, and visionary leaders can play in the growth and development of individuals, communities, and nations.
The founders have long held the belief that Africa’s future rests in the hands of its people—not only through its natural resources or economic growth but through the empowerment and development of its most valuable asset: its people. The Associate – AIALCM (Professional Level Coaching I) is the entry-level professional coaching certification at the Institute of Africa Life Coaches and Mentors. Designed for professionals, leaders, and executives with 7+ years of experience, this course provides foundational coaching and mentoring frameworks, personal mastery tools, and practical techniques aligned with global standards.
This program builds self-awareness, communication proficiency, and leadership through coaching—empowering individuals to influence personal and organizational transformation.
The Fellow – FIALCM (Professional Level Coaching II) is an advanced professional certification for seasoned professionals, leaders, and executives with 15+ years of experience. This course deepens the expertise gained at the Associate level and introduces transformational leadership, advanced coaching frameworks, strategic impact, and organizational-level coaching tools.
Fellows of the Institute are expected to influence systems, lead policy reforms, develop others through coaching, and foster leadership transformation across Africa and globally.
The Senior Fellow – SIALCM (Professional Advanced Level Coaching III) is the highest tier of professional certification at the Institute of Africa Life Coaches and Mentors. It is exclusively designed for high-level executives, C-suite professionals, institutional leaders, and coaching influencers with over 20 years of professional experience.
This elite program focuses on thought leadership, policy impact, continental influence, and the evolution of coaching frameworks from a global and Afrocentric lens. It challenges participants to not only transform lives and systems but to shape the future of coaching, mentoring, and leadership across Africa and beyond.
